In front of him, there is a large sealed plastic bag with a dog tag inside. Behind him, another person is partially visible, standing with sneakers and white socks. About Me

I am Emil Boysen, a Sports Engineering MSc student at Sheffield Hallam University passionate about combining engineering, biomechanics, and athletic performance. My work focuses on how technology and design can enhance human movement, training, and sports innovation.

With a background in Sports Science from Aalborg University, I bridge the gap between human physiology and technical engineering—working with 3D motion capture, Python-based modeling, and CAD design to develop smarter, data-driven sports technologies.

A bilingual Danish-American, I’m driven by curiosity and creativity both in and out of the lab—whether cycling, golfing, or exploring new ways to push athletic and technological boundaries.
